I bought a M&P 45 with thumb safety 8 months ago and have been impressed with it. Mild recoil for a .45 and an accurate firearm. Seems to be built well and I like the fact that Smith seems to stand behind their firearms with a lifetime warranty. I thought about a Glock but must admit I wanted something a little different and liked the thumb safety.
