I purchased my S&W M&P 45 full size in 2015. It has been perfect and my favorite 45 caliber. I’ve never had a malfunction and I’ve used several types of ammo. I have over 4000 rounds through my M&P 45. It’s dead accurate and recoil is gentle for a 45 cal. I couldn’t have done better in my opinion.

This is my most favorite handgun. I own 2 of them. Reliable, very easy to shoot. The finish is solid, easy to clean. And the service you get from Bud's, well, it's second to none!

The original M&P 45 is a good pistol. The grip is not as a aggressive as the new 2.0 and that is what I prefer. The 3 grip options are included, nice. The trigger is a bit squishy and heavy but a new sear is easy to install. Handloads at 12 yards showed centered groups on a paper plate with the original sights. (1.0 inch) What else do you need? The .45 M&P went with a 10 round magazine and with the small grip installed is just easier to grip than the Glock 21. With everyone enthralled with the 2.0 version these units are getting way more affordable.

The full sized M&P 45acp is large and in charge. Even with the smallest of palm swells it' a handful for my fat little hands. However I've ran several brands of ammo through it and never a failure to feed or eject.

Took to the range shot 100 rounds. no misfires. Great gun.

Overall happy with this purchase. As always Buds was great. The gun functions perfectly just not the most accurate in my hands compared to similar firearms. Could be a fit issue being I have small hands.

I own a number of S&W M&P pistols. They are a high quality gun & have never had a problem with any of them. I usually purchase the no frills , striker fire, no safety. This one has great balance, fits well & works great, what more do you need. No it is not a 1911 & I own one of those too, but for personal protection & carry, this .45acp is a great gun. I highly reccommend this gun to anyone wanting a .45acp. It is kinda like the car you trust to drive every day.............

Nice pistol went to the range and shot 150 rounds performed well, very reliable and accurate. Trigger still is nothing to brag about and there is not tactical or audible rest. Breaks about 7-8 lbs. Will install an apex kit soon. No reason S&W can not do a better job on the trigger. I have an M&P shield 45 and the trigger is excellent.

This gun has a good feel and is well balanced when loaded. This gun performed flawlessly during initial test fire of 100rds. Well packaged from S&W in pistol case which included two 10rd magazines and two back straps to adjust for users hand size.

Love it - M&P pistols seem to fit me really well, and this one is the same. Really like the different size back-straps to help tailor grip. Stock sights not bad, and in good alignment right from the box. Zero malfunctions with a variety of hand loads, and good accuracy. Also, fast shipping by Buds and local FFL's all know Buds by name and familiar with working with them. Bought my M&P 45 from Buds on 9/10/15. Was shipped next day. After receiving gun found that the magazines would not fit. Inspected magazines and found out that they were 9mm magazines. Called S&W about wrong magazines. They said for me to ship them at my cost. The man was a jerk. It's like the man did not believe me about the magazines . Called back and got someone else an he said they would send me a return label. I thought S&W was better then this.

this is the worst m&p that I own. the trigger is so heavy it makes it impossible to shoot accurate. I checked it about 12 x"s and the lightest pull I could get was about 12.8 lbs. using a lyman scale. I would recommend spending a few more bucks and buying a different model.

I have shot at least 150 rounds thru this pistol and no ftf, fte nothing but perfection! Right next to my 1911 love this pistol.... Highly recommend this and all other smith&wesson products! Thank you buds again for great service!!!

When the gun came in there was no scratches and not a ton of shipping oil. Put a box of 230 fmj through it and shot perfectly every time. I had read the trigger pull being @ 8lbs was a pain but had no problems what so ever, fun to shoot and just what it should be for under 500.00

This is my 3rd M&P pistol and now my primary duty weapon since our department went to the .45. Right out of the box took it to the range and had zero problems after 200 rounds. I did notice the reset on the .45 is slightly different than on my .40 for some reason and I wish it came with 3 mags instead of 2, but overall a great pistol.
