I've purchased this P226 two tone two weeks ago but haven't had a chance shoot at my local gun club. I've heard so much good things about this gun that I can't wait to try it so I can compare to my Beretta PX4 .40S&W. Price was definitely good even though history tells me I could have purchased it cheaper $599.00. I am not complaining for paying $669.00 for it. The gun is just well made, just like any German engineering. Very stiff on the slide but I am sure it will break in due time. The only thing I've notice different is on my SS slide, there is no marking of "Stainless" as indicated by the picture posted on this site. Yes, I realize in their fine print below add says picture might not reflect actual product and that you must read the description. Other than that, this is my 3rd purchase through Bud and all handguns. I am extremely happy with their dedication to providing quality service and speedy delivery/updates via email. I really appreciate that they keep you posted as to when your gun goes out the door and tracking #. Service definitely TOP NOTCH and price $$ well no local gun dealer is able to come close even Cabelas super store.

If I were you, don't wait for the price to drop because I've been tracking it and glad I made the purchase when I did or I would be stuck with higher price. Currently going for ~$857.00 for the same gun.
