The Sig Mosquito is a nice little .22LR handgun. I prefer this to other similar offerings as it is closer to a full size pistol and has similar controls with similar locations and just fits my hand better! It is a good pistol for a learner to use and build their confidence. It really is fun to shoot and ammo is cheaper. I also went and bought the ~$50 rail attachment/sight mount that allows me to fit a "cheap" holographic site on top of the slide. This is even more fun to try and see how you like these before you pay bigger bucks for a good one on a larger pistol.

Note that the Sig Mosquito really prefers CCI Mini-Mag, but only use the 40 gr solid bullets and not the hollow points! The hollow points occasionally jam going into the barrel and the slide then puts a nice dent in the case, which looks pretty bad but didn't cause a case failure for me!!
