Sig Mosquito Sport 22lr Black
[MOS22BSPORT]
$379.00
by Luke P Date Added: Saturday 14 June, 2008
Don't believe the negative hype you hear about this weapon. If you hear someone complaining about their Mosquito, challenge them to provide you with the build date of their pistol. Sig Sauer has since fixed all of the issues the first generation of Mosquitos had, but they haven't been able to shake the negative gossip. The fit and finish is absolutely top of the line for a modern .22lr combat / tactical feeling plinker handgun. By this I mean that you'll get slightly better fit and finish out of the $800 target .22lr pistols, but in it's own category it blows the Walther P22 away. Comes with two different springrate recoil springs to allow the weapon to function properly with heavier and slower sub-sonic ammunition as well as allow reliability with the lighter high-pressure HV rounds. Don't expect full-size HK reliability out of it, but for a plinker it's just fine. Using the dirtiest Federal HV brick ammo, I have maybe 1 FTF every 100 rounds or so, and it's cleared by quickly cycling the slide.
