Not nearly as cumbersome to shoot as I had expected. The trigger pull was awful with my first 50 rounds which made hits at 15 feet difficult and tiresome. Then a couple days of dry firing to perfect my grip on this gun lightened up the trigger substantially where my next 50 rounds were easily placed in an 8" bulls-eye at 15 feet to the point I could work on faster follow up shots. My recommendations: you'll have to dry fire the pistol a bit just to find a grip that works for you and lighten the trigger; this gun feels like no other. Some color paint of your choosing works great on the front sight to contrast it from the top strap (I used fluorescent orange nail polish). It's a fun gun to shoot, a great conversation piece among fellow shooter, and lacks any reason whatsoever why you can't have this on you at all times. In fact, I wore mine in the shower (loaded) with a kydex neck holster (lostriverholsters.com)), air dried it in the holster, and shot it just fine with that same ammo 4 days later.
