NAA Mini-Master 22LR/M, 4in Barrel, Adj. Sight
[MMTC]
$328.00
by Aaron T Date Added: Friday 29 October, 2010
Just received my Mini-Master Revolver from buds a few days ago. Ordered on Sunday night.... into my FFL's hands on Wednesday. Incredible time! Thank you Bud's!!
Anyway... about the gun: If you are looking for a small, dependable, accurate, and well built trail gun that will shoot everything from .22 CB's all the way up to hot .22 Magnums - This is it. I could be happier! With the 4" barrel you gain about 50ft lbs of energy over the 2" black widow barrel when shooting the .22 mags. So while its not quite as pocket able as the 2" Black widow... the velocity and energy you gain for serious applications makes it worthwhile. When shooting .22 lr ammo it likes (Winchesters and Remington Yellow Jackets from what I tested) I was able to keep 5 shots in about 1.5" at 12 yards standing up. Trigger takes some getting used to. Very short Trigger travel, seems to be smoothing out the more i shoot.
So to wrap it up... if you are looking for a rimfire to mount a red dot and make shots at +30 yards or have high capacity with quick reloads... this is NOT the gun for you. But if you are looking for the lightest, most concealable option say for backpacking or survival, or just to wander the woods - and with the capability of shooting EVERY TYPE .22 RIMFIRE IN EXISTANCE - Without lugging around the bulkier Ruger Single Six - this is your gun!
Hope that helps....
