Mine arrived quicker than I expected. Good impressions from buds, but the same can't be said for the product I received. The action was initially grindy and the timing was off. After a bit of cleaning with a cloth and going through the action for a few minutes, the problems seemed to "fix" themselves. Working the action is now smooth and the timing seems to be back on track. I believe it will work properly when I get to the range, but those first few minutes almost made me turn down the firearm at my ffl.

This is a very small revolver, high quality, excellent price from Buds, I ordered the GBG-L-ENG engraved grips, it gives you a little more to hang on to and it makes the revolver look nice.

Just bought the NAA 22 short it’s super cute and fun to shoot thanks Buds you always have what I want!

Favorite gun in my collection! Very well machined. Next on the list is the ranger ii in 22 mag!

Greetings! I recently purchased a North American Arms Mini 1.13" 22 Short Revolver - 5 Rounds, Wood Grips and would like your advice on the best bullet to use for this revolver as this is my first time purchasing one of these thanks in advance

This is now the smallest revolver in my collection. It's not so much functional (size & single action), but it is a very cute, tiny collector's piece that can fit inside a belt buckle! Even with it's microscopic size, it is a solid, high-quality revolver with excellent machining. Recommended for anyone wanting a fun addition to their collection.

I love this little gun. Everyone that sees it wants to hold it. This is one of the very few guns that you can carry concealed at a nude beach.

Consistently penetrated completely through a 3/4 inch board. Definitely not a powerhouse but it is not a toy.

This is a well made, very little gun. It is built like a piece of jewelry and can absolutely disappear in your hand.

Waited a long time for one of these to become available; I'm told NAA only produces them sporadically in limited runs. Just be patient & vigilant if you are waiting on one. Charming little guy; more often than not I have it on me either in a vest pocket or in the coin-pocket of my jeans. Like any derringer, this too is a true "belly-gun". Only about 50 rnds of CCI CB 22 Short (29 grain, LRN, 710 fps, sub-sonic/low-noise) fired thru it so far, but w/o any malfunctions. It generates quite a bit of conversation (& smiles) from others, many of whom ask to try it out themselves. As always, Buds never disappoints with their service, buying/shipping experience & range of products. Thanks much, Buds!

As always North American Arms produces nothing but quality! It's ironically smaller than expected, but not to bad to handle! Like the other NAA's I own it functions and fire perfectly. It can be a pain to get the cylinder out, but this comes with the territory when your dealing with a gun the size of a half dollar!

Bud's got it to me quickly! Nice little gun but as with many NAA guns, I had to send it back to NAA. This time, it was an issue with light primer strikes resulting in frequent misfires, right out of the box. NAA fixed the problem and it fires every time, now. As with many NAA mini revolvers, I think they could have done a much better job with the barrel (bore and muzzle) that would have resulted in much better accuracy, even from this tiny gun. At least it doesn't keyhole rounds and for that I am grateful.

Own 3 other NAA mini revolvers. Quality made and have no issues with any of them going on 20 years now. Bought the latest one in 22 short from Bud's because it fit the bill, well actually fit the belt buckle I picked up at a yard sale. Like the fact that it sits securely in the buckle and I have 5 shots instead of the traditional 2 shot derringer. Live in an unincorporated area where there are fields and have coyotes and wild pigs roaming. 22 short may not be much but it is enough deterrent to keep the critters at bay. This tiny revolver is a WORK OF ART.. Don't care if it even fires, once you hold it and look at it, you will realize the care and loving that went into making it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

Day 5 after order - gun stuck in Texas - shame on UPS, USPS, or both. This is 5th. NAA mini for me - 1 Sidewinder mag, 1 ported mag, 1 combo lr, wmr mag which was stolen from unlocked truck - my bad - ( but lr cylinder fits the new ported replacement) - 1 l.r. - and now the shortie if it gets here before I die of old age. All superbly manufactured, detailed, and functional. Due to double edged sword of escalating random deadly crime on one hand and lunatic anti gunners, these are all my back pocket "aces in the hole". The l.r. and magnum have already saved my bacon when walking up on some nasty and aggressive cottonmouths in the
VA/NC swamp areas where I fish - rat/snake shot is the order of the day - lr is good up to 10 feet - magnum up to 20. For two legged snakes I use the highest velocity hollowpoints available in all three configurations ; CCI and Hornady are my go to. I would not count on the shortie as a first defensive go to - it would just piss off a bad guy unless one is close enough for a head, neck, or spine shot - not a good position to be in for the squeamish - definitely a last ace in the hole.

Its so small i love it. Its exactly what I wanted and expected.
