Pistol was in like new condition and shoots very well. The main reason I went with the 357 sig was to have a bit more flexibility with regard to being able to swap out the barrel to have the ability to also shoot the 40 S&W round. Don't get me wrong as I think that the 357 sig is a great caliber option for canceled carry but it is too expensive to use for range practice. Thanks again Buds for another hassle free purchase.

First off, Bud's was great from start to finish. My first handgun and first purchase from Buds.These are Sigs red box pistols. Mine appeared to be brand spanking new. I recived a P229R with the Legacy Slide. Acessories included were two brand new mags, sample bottle of grease, and a gun lock. Comes with 1 yr warrenty. Got 1500 rds through mine and it runs like a Swiss watch. Excellent value in my own opinion. The models are not sorted, you could get rail or no rail NS etc. Or anything in between, but you can get your FFL to send it back if you're not happy.

This reflects my online experience with them. I read all kinds of negative and hateful reviews for Buds. Can't believe everything you read and hear. I'm the type where I have to find out for myself and experience it first hand. Even after all the negativity I read, I ordered me the Sig P229 anyways. My favorite handgun I used for duty at one time. Once I placed my order, I got emails to keep me in the loop of what was happening. Even got a call to clear up some card issues. After that, the process kept moving along and 3 days later, my handgun was at my FFL and I have gun in hand. Everything about my Sig was what I expected, ranging from the price to quality of the handgun. The process was easy and flowed pretty smooth. Maybe being nice with anyone you deal with goes a long way......There.....my 2 cents.

Unbeatable price, came in perfect like-new condition. I was hoping for one of the more modern models but I can't complain. The gun I received is one of the older style models which came without a forend accessory rail and with the old school I think they call it "legacy slide" with half serrations and short extractor, as well as the narrow hooked trigger, rounded trigger guard, and old school grips. So not precisely what I was expecting or what I wanted but still overall a great deal for a great piece. Just note that though these certified pre-owned Sigs come in great condition you can't be sure exactly what you'll get.

Simply unbelievable! Firearm looked brand new; barrel, internal parts, frame, slide, even the magazines. Mine had the original style P229 slide which I definitely prefer over the newer styles which look like the original P228's. Also came with rail. I promptly installed Siglite night sights (with my Sig sight pusher) and a Hogue G10 Piranha grips (same as on the Sig Scorpions and Extremes) and for just a little investment in upgrading, I've got a gun identical to the top-end $1100 Sigs for about half the price. If I decide I want another caliber, I only need buy a conversion barrel for about $150 but I've always loved the 357 Sig performance, dependability, and accuracy and this one shoots like a target pistol with zero issues in over 250 rounds. I have over a dozen Sigs from 239's, 220's , 226's(including one X5), and even a couple 290's but have never bought a CPO until now. This is and outstanding deal and in fact, I just might have to buy another one.

Budsgun is something!! Just received my sig cpo p229! The gun doesn't look like preowned at all everything just like brand new. Very satisfy with both product and the customer service.Sigsauer CPO is really worth it and save you some money to get accessories. Will do more business from Buds for sure!

I received an email from Buds Gun Shop informing me of the Sig Sauer CPO Sale. I noticed Buds was offering the Sig Sauer P229 chambered in .357 Sig. I have always wanted a 229 chambered in .357 Sig. I placed my order for one of the Sigs. I didn't experience any delays or problems during shipping. At the time for transfer, I was pleased and surprised with the exterior condition of the Sig. The CPO Sig didn't show any signs of scratches, blemishes or holster wear. All the internal parts were new as well. The moving parts were protected by synthetic grease. The CPO Sig came with two magazines. The magazines were used, but in good working condition. I am pleased with my new Certified Pre-Owned Sig.

Gun basically looks brand new. I'm wondering if SIG refinishes the entire frame and slide. If so, then CPO is the way to go - hands down. Inside of the magwell shows signs of usage, but that just confirms that the gun does what its intended to do. My gun actually had an extremely grainy/noisy DA trigger pull. Contacted SIG, who agreed to repair and did so within 14 days time (door to door). A+ once again for SIG Customer Service!

I received the gun last week and had a chance to shoot 100 rounds through it. The gun looks brand new, I’m not sure if Sig is refinishing these before they send them out or not, but the finish is new, the frame is German, the springs are all new, and the grips have no marks on them. The sights are regular white 3 dot instead of night sights, but aside from that this gun looks just like a brand new 229. Shoots fantastic, the 357 Sig is less recoil than I expected and just a bit more than a 9 and less than a 40. Ammo can be pricey however. I have a Sig MK25 and a P220 Elite Dark to go with this 229 and they’re all excellent firearms. At 600 bucks you cannot beat this deal, you pay that for a plastic gun that is nowhere near the gun a Sig is. I'm adding a SRT and a 40 barrel and a couple of extra 14 round mags, so for between 800 and 900 dollars I've got a great gun in 2 calibers.

I was looking for a Sig in 357 Sig .Wow what a buy, this gun is in absolutely new condition. mine has the light rail ,really didn't care if it had the rail but its a nice touch.Also two mags. Buds is the best. Great service. The gun was at the ffl in no time. Stop thinking about buying one . Just get one before they"er gone.

Great deal on a P229 it was too good for me to pass up and was not disappointed mine did not have the accessory rail but I did not want it. Night sights, great trigger cannot go wrong.

I purchased this pre-owned P229 wondering what I was really getting. I took a look at my gun at the FFL and the gun had the red preowned wrapper around the grip. From my stand point, the gun looks brand new, it has a Short Reset Trigger (SRT), night sights glowing brightly, but it did not have the rail. Looking on the inside, it has a new recoil spring, all new parts that come in a parts kit from Top Gun Supply, the rails on the upper and lower looked brand new. I think this gun has seen 250 rounds go down the tube and kept cleaned. The two clips have room for 12+1 and the grips are the classic style instead of the E2 type.
