I was very impressed with the accuracy and limited recoil. Also the quality and precision of the build is really great. The gun is really fun to shoot, and easy to shoot quickly. The gun looks great and feels great in my large hands. Thanks to the nub on the magazine, my hand rests comfortably on the grip. The trigger is wonderful, very smooth, there is no jerk when in single action, it can be very accurate. The gun is all metal , so the heft helps to limit the recoil. The force required to cock the gun is significant, I would not recommend this pistol for people with weak hands. I believe this is expected from the smaller pistols where the length of travel of the slide is limited. It came in a nice, small, Bersa carrying case with a well translated manual and 2 magazines. The small size of the case is a benefit for me because I can fit it more easily in my safe. My only gripe is that a magazine loading tool is not included. I will be looking to buy one. Of the two magazines, one had a noticeably stronger spring, so after going through 100 rounds in 30 minutes, my thumbs did hurt a bit. The manual recommends to fire only ball ammo for the first 200 - 300 rounds, during the break in period. In conclusion, in my opinion, this is a very nice pistol, suitable for concealed carry, but its not light.

I'm not sure why I'm the first to review this pistol but after 300 or so rounds at the range without a failure or stove pipe using both good brass to brown bear cheepo and steel tula I will give this Bersa a thumbs up. This pistol is good looking, fun to shoot and fairly acurate for a short barrel. It's a man's gun in my estimation, however, based on grip and weight even with the clip restricted to 10 rounds. This Thunder is not a purse pistol. I was a bit surprised at the price for this Bersa product when compared to the 380 Thunder I previously purchased from Buds, but at this point in time feel it is worth it. This is my favorite 9MM and I own several non Bersa 9MM pistols. If you want a solid frame reliable 9MM conceal carry and purchase this pistol from Buds I don't think you will be disappointed.
