I purchased this gun through Bud's Layaway plan and it all worked out great. I couldn't be happier with the service from Bud's. The pistol has performed flawlessly. I now have over 300 rounds through it with no issues or problems. I was a little hesitant about purchasing an "economy" level gun, but have been extremely satisfied with the quality of this relatively inexpensive Kahr. It is a great CCW gun. Recoil is much less than one would expect from a .45 acp gun that weighs in at around 20oz. Kahr's CW 45 is easily concealable and I now have 6+1 rounds of .45 instead of just 5 rounds in my old J-frame. At 7 yds the gun is very accurate. I purchased two additional 7 round magazines from Kahr, so I can carry with 7+1 rounds as well. This is my first Kahr. They make great guns. I wanted a compact .45 acp but did not want one with less than a 3 1/2 inch barrel. WIth a barrel length of 3.64 inches, I think the Kahr can still deliver the kind of velocity necessary for .45 ammo in a CCW configuration.
