Good looking rifle. And it shoots true. We have a over run of wild hogs so I carry it in my truck. I've yet to kill one to this day. It's a nice conversation piece. RT.

This Henry lever action is a classic joy to shoot. The vintage brass receiver with the blued octagon barrel really gives that old west feel. Shooting is crisp although the lever action initially needed a little bit of a break in, after about 100 rounds it because smoother than butter. If you've never used a lever action you might find it surprisingly lightweight which makes for a great trail gun slung over the shoulder while hiking for a while. The iron sights are accurate and the rifle itself is quite the tack driver. If you want to feel a bit like "The Rifleman" or are looking for a solid brush gun I would highly recommend.

This is an absolutely beautiful weapon. The action is smooth and sure. At age 78 you can imagine it is more accurate than I am. The recoil is manageable. It is a fun gun to shoot.

Ah a classic Henry. Load on Sunday and shoot all week. A real gem. REAL AMERICAN quality that helped win the war of Southern Aggression. (I am a Texan). Shoots very well, lever action perfect, about as good as a lever gun can get. Check out their 45-70 and .308 Winchester models.
You cannot go wrong with a Henry or Bud's! Highly recommended for a lever-action rifle.

I own several Henry rifles and they are pure quality. The Henry brass 30-30 is a very well made American rifle. I both it last spring and shot 60 rounds through it practicing over several range sessions. My 61st and 62nd shots took out a buck and a doe at 108 yards and 65 yards. If you are looking for an all American made firearm that has excellent quality I would recommend Henry.

Excellent transaction, product was exactly as described. Purchased this brand new, very nice product and Buds was excellent from start to finish, thanks Buds.

The rifle was delivered with the brass very tarnished and dirty. I accepted it as the rest of the rifle was in good condition. Upon cleaning the brass with Henry brass cleaner I found it to be scratched and marked over its entire brass surface, including the barrel band. It appeared to have been used and abused and packaged and shipped , on a Friday if that means anything. There was even a pressed in impression into the brass, an impression of either a vise or glove . This rifle should not have left the factory. I contacted Henry immediately and they provided a shipping label and it is on its way back for replacement. Will be very interesting to see what I end up with. My opinion is that Henry quality is not what is advertised. I recently refused delivery on a Henry octagon barrel .22 as the back sight was drilled and installed way off center. I would not recommend any Henry rifle purchase based upon my recent experiences.

Fast shipping with Buds! Great rifle. Just a work of art. Only thing I wish Henry would do was make these with and without the receiver tapped for scope mounting. I would prefer that the receiver not be tapped and solid. Anyways to each their own. Looks great next to the rest of the Henry collection I have. 45/70 is up next.

Outstanding Rifle. The quality of workmanship that was poured into the making of this fine gun is top notch. Fit and finish is excellent, wood quality is outstanding, brass work is fantastic, the action is smooth as butter, and the magazine tube is tight and well-sealed. I love the heavy octagon barrel, it just feels right in the hand when slinging lead down range. It was dead accurate right out of the box and has a nice trigger. This gun is both beautiful and highly functional. I always liked the Marlins, but I LOVE my Henry.
