Very pleased with the shotgun. Typical Mossberg, rugged, reliable, brutally simple. Finish on mag tube wore from pump very quickly, faster than my 590A1.
Recoil was very manageable with 00 buck and 2 3/4" slugs. The 3" Mag slugs were brutal. Pistol grip makes pump release somewhat cumbersome.
The pump strap is an absolute necissity! Was very pleased by the trigger, no grit, clean break. Also suprised by the "accuracy", two hand unsupported eye level @ 15 yds and all 6 slugs in an 8" paper plate. 00 Buck almost as good. This thing is wicked with #4 bird shot at any range.

Stand off Muzzle device raises "intimidation factor" big time. Use caution as it will tear the hell out of your gun case foam or gun safe carpet. Havent tried it yet at close range, probably never will.

Over all, an absolute perfect truck gun or bedside gun. You do have to pull the stupid stick from the mag tube to get all 5 rounds in, like anyone is gonna hunt Ducks with it!

In WA state (others?) you will have to fill out a pistol purchase form because it supposedly can be fired with one hand. So check local laws, you may have to be 21 to purchase.
