Kel-Tec 7 + 1 Round 9MM w/3" Barrel/Parkerized/Black Finish
[PF9PK]
$266.00
by Ben J Date Added: Friday 26 November, 2010
A+ typical customer service and fast shipping from Bud's as usual. Two thumbs up! Had the PF-9 in my hands within 2 days. The Kel-Tec is a good value at a lower price point. Put 50 CCI fmj and a few Hornady hp, both 115 grain rounds, thru it this evening with no hiccups. Since this is a lightweight, recoil was a handful. A few shots at a time are tolerable, anymore and gloves are needed. This was expected and not a drawback for me as this is a CCDW weapon for up close personal protection and not for target practice. At seven yards, I was hitting about 6 inches low consistently, so I shimmed the back sight to zero on in. My groups were around 8 inches at 7 yds. With practice, I hope to tighten this up by at-least half. The larger groups is due to me not being experienced with the double action only trigger and harder pull. I have one real con to this pisto. The mag spring was too tight to function properly with the seventh round. Becasue of this, I am using it with only six rounds for now. I can live with that as long as the pistol keeps putting rounds down range without jamming/malfunctions as it has so far.
