Kel-Tec 7 + 1 Round 9MM w/3" Barrel/Hard Chrome/Black Finish
[PF9HC]

smallest and lightest 9mm you will find. Great concealed carry gun for those that want more power than a 380 but still want to carry so comfortably that they don't even feel they are carrying. There is supposedly a break in period of 200 rounds which seemed unneeded to me as it was shooting any ammo I fed it out of the box. The CHROME FINISH IS VERY MUCH WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY as it is not only a superior protection for the gun but also makes the gun ridiculously easy to clean. For those not in the know hard chrome is not shiny, it is a dull grey color. there should be no problems getting it to conceal with its finish color.

Only drawbacks are due to it's size and weight it has a kick similar to a full size 45 and may jam if you are limp wristing. SO DON'T LIMP WRIST. As any subcompact it is double action only which to those who have not trained with revolvers or other subcompacts may be finding the trigger pull a bit difficult.

THIS IS A FIREARM DESIGNED FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. It is designed to be small concealable weapon with reasonable power to be used for INSTINCTIVE defensive shooting. when i say instinctive I mean there is no safety lock to get hung up on and even though there are both front and rear sights (rear adjustable) you will not have any problems shooting it in an quick point and shoot fashion. Even the slide stop has been simplified to reduce the chances of it catching on something and to encourage use of releasing the lock be racking the slide.

If you are considering buying this or any subcompact I suggest you first try the grip out and trigger out at a local gun store before purchasing on bud as a lower price or desired finish. Most of the time the difference in a shooting experience with subcompacts is how well the individual shooter likes the trigger and the grip for that model.

ALL THE ABOVE BEING SAID YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER BANG FOR THE BUCK IN A SUBCOMPACT.

P.S. As of the moment I am writing this the picture shown above for this weapon incorrectly shows a PF9 with a black slide not the hard chrome slide so don't be confused when looking at the picture.
