Received the item and was impressed with the quality of the leather and workmanship. I purchased it for my full sized Springfield 1911 stainless 45. It fits TIGHT! Perhaps a little too tight as I have difficulty getting the pistol out of the holster. There is no fear of loosing this gun to holster fallout or even forced extraction by someone other than myself. Gun a bit big for the holster as the strap to hold it in will not close but because it fits so tight no problem. Small issues but I got it to help carry the weapon. I am not in any fast draw competitions so I am a happy camper. I am most happy about the price. I have been looking at this holster for over a year and Bud's still has the best price. With CA tax and shipping I was still under the base price of other sites.

FIT: Does not fit government model 5" SIG 1911 with rail. Quality: Excellent leather and design concept. Should work for strong or cross draw applications. Recommendation: Large holster Mfg. company should develop their flagship products to fit SIG 1911 slide dimensions.
