What can be said other than FANTASTIC!!! For the price I was sceptical but since I already owned a Taurus PT-99 for years I decided to try one out. Let me say that I was amazed. This is more accurate with tighter groups than the 99. I put a Marvel Precisions .22 Conversion kit on it and I was breaking poker chips at 50 yards. Easy enough but then I went back to the .45 and with 140 gr frangables I was again breaking poker chips at 50 yds with no problem off a rest.
I have not had a FTF/FTE with any ammo I have fired in this handgun from the factory mags. Every thing from lighjtweight frangiables to heavy ball, handloads, truncated, hollowpoints, flat nose and lead in all shapes feed effortlessly and fire. I tried some extended mags so I wouldn't have to reload them so often and they were terrible. I cannot fault the pistol.
For the price you cannot buy a better built more accurate piece. (oh one more surprise with this package, when I opened the case for the first time in addition to 2 mags, cleanning brush, take down wrench, two keys to lock the hammer, and an allen wrench for adjusting the sights, the nice people at Taurus included a set of standard plastic grips. Just a nice touch.)
