Looks like I purchased this at a good time. It just went up $94! I am disappointed, though, that the original gun description said it had a front tritium sight. Mine did not. I even asked about this in an email prior to ordering to make sure that description was correct. I was told, yes, the gun should have a front night sight. I figured that was icing on the cake so I made the order. I sent an email to Bud's after I received my order, to express my disappointment. So far, no reply (sent the email a week ago).
Took it to the range today and put approx. 150 rounds through it. Most was Winchester White Box (WWB) 230 gr. FMJ's, with some WWB hollow points. Also some Remington Golden Saber
185 gr. hollowpoints. No problems at all.
I compared it against my S&W M&P .40 that I bought from Bud's. I'll have to say the M&P is easier to shoot accurately. I had to concentrate more to make the XD hit where I wanted. But, when I did my part, the gun shot great. I figure I just need more trigger time. I like this gun.
