Looking for a good solid set of scope rings, look no further than these Weaver Grandslam rings. I have tried aluminum rings in the past and, although they don't add much in the way of weight to a scoped firearm, I've never had the complete confidence in their strength. From the moment that I took these rings out of their packaging, I knew that I had made the right choice. After I "leveled" the scope base on my rifle, I installed the bottoms of both rings on the mount and then checked them with a spirit level across their tops; matched perfectly. Mounted a spirit level on top of the elevation turret and carefully tightened the ring caps down. No change by the rings "pulling" the scope tube left or right. You can spend more for rings ( I've purchased Leupold and Sako rings before) but these steel rings will meet your mounting needs.

I purchased these rings at the same time I purchased a Ruger american ranch rifle in 223. Mounted up perfectly. I mounted a Burris 2 x 7 fullfield II. Had plenty of space for this scope. Should be an excellent combo for my needs. We'll see at the range. Thank you Bud's for the swift, great service. You're my go to company.

I got these Grand Slam rings and some Grand Slam bases to put a 2x7x33 Leopold on my old Marlin 336. got the scope bell down to about 3/16" above the barrel, so I removed the rear sight. I like the looks without it. I love these Weaver rings, but the picture here is of the old style GS rings which have two ring screws while the new ones have four per ring.

Very nice, inexpensive, old school looking rings for a non tacticool rifle. Used them on a Ruger 7mm-08 bolt action that came with Weaver style bases and couldn't be happier. Weaver makes good stuff for price and Bud's got them to me quick as usual.
