I have to rate this pistol below a 5 because of the fact I returned it to the factory for warranty work on the trigger and slide. The trigger pull was tested to be 7 lb. and gritty out of the box and even after 250 round shot thru it. The slide was not smooth thus required adjustment on warranty. The factory did install a new sear and made adjustments to reduce the trigger pull to a very nice crisp 5.25 lb. The slide issue was also resolved and the gun is performing well. For the price I paid I would of expected none of these problems but Springfield did respond and take care of the issues within 5 days. Buds gun shop did an excellent job again on delivery even though it was 10 days because of their backlog from Mr. Obama's sales pitches. This EMP 9MM will become my C&C pistol. I love the size and weight and accuracy is really nice- almost as good as my Springfield fully loaded target 9MM and 45. .
