This is the first handgun I've purchased and fired, and I was very pleased with the performance. The weapon is very comfortable to hold(I'd previously held my grandfather's Beretta 92 and much prefer my XDM) and very comfortable to fire. As a first time shooter my own personal accuracy isn't perfect but the gun seemed quite accurate in that I was tending to hit where I was intending and weapon inaccuracy was due to my own inexperience rather than issue with the gun. Combined with the high capacity of the magazine, the excellent price, and the amazing amount of accessories Springfield includes with the XDM line, I feel I made the right choice with this purchase(The guy working at the range I went to told me I picked a really great gun, and as a longtime shooter, he would recommend an XDM to anyone interested in shooting, particularly if they weren't extremely experienced.)
In addition, Bud's speed of service was amazing. I ordered my pistol on a Monday, and it was in my hands by Tuesday...can't beat that.
