A member of the US Army, I have shot my fair share of guns. I only wish that we fielded these rifles. They mean business. My PTR was one of the later ones that are currently circulating that have the deeper flutes- No problem with cheap Russian Brown Bear/Wolf, no problems with a variety of military surplus, AUS, Argentina, ETC. This rifle is a real eye-catcher at the range. No one can believe how far this baby tosses the casings- 30 feet+ at the 2 o'clock. Don't expect to be able to reload the brass. Don't expect anyone or anything to keep standing or get back up after taking a bullet from one of these. I find this gun rather heavy in the front end- longer barrel/heavy match grade bull barrel makes for a 10 lbs gun, 15 with a German Hensoldt Model one Zf 4x24. Don't be one of those guys and get a boring AR-15. Don't cheat yourself and get a CETME with welded rear sights. Be it Obama or the zombies that comes for my guns, or some unfortunate burglar, this machine will lay them down. This clone is also the closest thing you will get to a real G3, and accepts every part from its predecessor. Do yourself a favor and treat your number one fan with this gun. You won't regret it.
