Sig Sauer 22LR Conversion Kit For Model 226
by Evan T
Date Added: Monday 22 September, 2008
This kit is great fun for practice and plinking, and will turn your P226 into an extremely high quality .22 pistol. A few pieces of important information are as follows:
Contrary to the photo, the guide rod is black polymer.
Dry-firing this kit will cause damage.
The sights are adjustable combat type.
There is no last round hold open.
The slide is aluminum, and the magazine is polymer.
Using after an market replacement plug for the magazine spring, mag capacity can be increased to 15 rounds.
The kit is on the pricey side, but I highly recommend it to all P226 owners who enjoy recreational shooting, especially with rising ammo prices.
