I first heard of the AUG while playing Call of Duty. After actually seeing one and handling it at a gun show I fell in love with the design. I did a lot of research on MSAR vs AUG and came to the conclusion that not only did MSAR improve upon the original design, but the price was about half of buying an AUG. The bullpup design is a little odd at first, considering the cartridge ejection is less than an inch or two from your face, but picking up a brass buster from Ratworx solved that "paranoid" issue. I read the trigger was mushy on these rifles but I can't say that mine exhibits that type of behavior. I bought a trigger tamer in anticipation of this, but don't even know if I'll install it after using the default factory setup. All in all, this rifle is excellent. The 1.5 optic is pristine glass. Although it's not necessarily as nice or easy to acquire as an eotech for CQB, it is usable and does a nice job when shooting distance. If you like the space age look and the bullpup style, you can't go wrong with this weapon. Buds gets two thumbs up for quick service on this. I had it in my hands in lesss than a week.
