I got a 9mm XD-M a few weeks ago and have shot it twice total about 250 rounds.
This is my first polymer pistol and I like this one. Compared to my 1911 Colt this is SO unbelievably easy to field strip.
I take it apart sometimes just because it's such a cool design.
Lock the slide, drop the mag, flip the lever, release the slide lock and slip the slide off the frame...done.
Breaks down into 4 pieces: Frame, slide, barrel, spring assy. Not pulling the trigger to disassemble is huge.
Decent trigger pull and short reset, reasonably accurate, huge mag capacity, and good shooting auto. I like this gun and
it will take the pressure off my Gold Cup National Match Colt .45 ACP for routine range shooting.
Keeps the ammo costs down too.
