5 Stars for the gun. I love it! I really like the ghost ring sights and it is very accurate and patterns very well for a home defense / law enforcement shotgun. I have an older 870 that was issued to me by my department, but this one is better in my opinion for LE work. The extended ported Tactical Rem Choke will be good for breeching doorways, and the addition of the rail on the receiver is a big plus. I was NOT impressed by Bud's Gun Shop, however. While the prices are reasonable, the customer service is not so good. The shipping was slow, and what's up with the 10% restocking fee (Seriously?!). When I first made my order, this gun was not in stock and I was told it was a hard-to-get item, so I ordered another similar gun. A few hours later I checked and this was in stock, so I asked if I could change my order. I was charged 10% of the cost for the first gun plus the penalty for using a credit card instead of cash (twice) that is not included in the display price which made me pay well over $500.00 for this gun. I'm not sure I will ever order from Bud's again. Maybe if all else fails and I need a particular gun and NO one else has it in stock, but it will be a reluctant purchase. The bottom line is if you want a good reliable self-defense/home-defense or duty shotgun, then you will not go wrong buying this one, but try to buy it from someone else.
