Rossi 357 Magnum Lever Action w/16" Round Blue Barrel/Walnut [R92-56008]
$458.00
by Thomas O
Date Added: Monday 29 October, 2012
This rifle is a nice design, however Rossi could have done a better job. You will never hit a bullseye with the standard sights. The gun shoots very high, even with the sights adjusted to the lowest position. A search on the internet will show you that all Rossi 92's shoot that way. The only way to correct it, is to purchase after market replacement sights, such as those available from Steve's Gunz. This must be known to Rossi, yet they continue to supply the rifle with inappropriate sight.
Also the action is pretty rough, with a lot of misfeeds, but I have heard that this improves, after a lot of rounds have been shot though it. This can also be improved by having a gunsmith work on the action.
Maybe I am old fashioned, but it seems to me, that Rossi should supply a gun that works perfectly out of the box.
This will be a great rifle once I spend extra money, to fix Rossi's quality issues.
