for the money you pay this rifle is well worth it. fit and finish were far better than I expected from a 495 dollar firearm. it is not a 1000-1200 dollar firearm, and I did not expect it to be. do not fool yourself into thinking this is going to be like the other high priced replicas. this firearm is a great deal for the price. I intend to use and abuse this lever gun, and I didn't want a gun I was going to be worried about scratching while in the woods. great entry level priced lever gun.
