This is great ammunition. Even though it is Plus P ammo, it is light recoiling. It expands nicely and over all gives me confidence that it will be a great defensive round. I have both of my .38 revolvers loaded up with it. I will buy more as I use it up with demos to other people.

Great price on a hard-to-find item. I use these out of a S&W j-frame. It's hard to get rounds to expand from the short barrel, but the Critical Defense seems to have the best reviews online for this purpose.

Honestly, have only shot a few of these through my Taurus 856. But they shoot well: clean, with lower recoil and muzzle flash, just like the non-+p ammo from Hornady that I have. Great for home/personal defense and EDC. This ammo is 5-star- so is Bud's reliability.

Bought these for my wife to use in her S&W snub pistol. Very low recoil and very good power when shooting at water jugs or other type targets. Hits hard and very good penetration.
