Excellent rifle. Bud's guns, fast shipping. Rifle does have flash hider not shown in picture. I didn't suffer any break-in period as others have stated. I used (5.56x45) 55 grain Lake City FMJ, and (5.56x45) 62 grain Lake City penetrator ammo. I fired over 500 rounds each on test day without cleaning. No jams, stovepipes, or any other malfunctions. Weapon fired accurately and consistantly. The rear site is junk, I suggest a dot sight or scope. I only used factory Ruger 30 round magazines. I HIGHLY recommend this rifle for the low budget Patriot!
