Bought this as my first handgun in August, Have put about 1000 rounds through it (all FMJ 115-147 grain) and can't say enough good about this weapon. The transaction from Buds to my local FFL went silky smooth. I think the gun was delivered in about 4 days. I'm a newbie, but have taken this to the range with a few friends who own the popular comparative weapons (Glock, S&W) and they were very pleased with the feel and performance of the SR9. I have been teaching myself how to shoot and can put very tight groups together at 10 yards, at 15 there are still a couple outside the center mass, but I'm working on it. The gun is very comfortable to hold, has very little recoil, and is super easy to clean. As a first handgun I don't think that I could have done better.
