Great rifle. This is the 2nd one that I own, the other in .243. Smooth action, good trigger, gun is light but very balanced. Nice stock & recoil pad. Target crown barrel is excellent. Both of mine are very accurate, 1/2 " groups with handloads. Only weak point is the trigger guard which is plastic. I cracked mine while tightening the screws, which was replaced by Marlin very quickly. Do not overtighten the screws on the trigger guard. This may be the best bolt action rifle for the price out there.
