Marlin 6 + 1 45-70 Government w/18" Stainless Barrel/Black/G
by Martin M
Date Added: Tuesday 01 March, 2011
I'd been looking at the Marlin SBL for several years and almost lost out. One of the last one's I've ever seen for sale popped here and I bought it. The process was flawless as long as you use one of their recommended FFL dealers. The rifle is awsome. Works flawlessly and I went to the range last week and shot 40 cartridges of +P ammo from Grizzly ranging from 460 grains to the Leverution 325 grainers. Even though it doesn't have the porting the decelerator pad did the trick and It didn't even kick as hard as my 7mm and 300 Win mags.
This is the sweetest little bear gun I've ever shot. Looks like I may have got one of the very last made American level guns.
