Bought this fom Bud's; my M&P 9c needed a big brother in the gun safe- the XD45 in the safe was bullying it too much. :-)
Anyway , great transaction, timely notifications and shipping. Gun arrived and was of recent manufacture, test fire date 12/09, with new striker (a recent S&W internal redesign) and updated Novak style site.
Only 'negative' is there is a small scratch or other blemish on the bottom of the slide; it wasn't apparent until initial cleaning, and you can't see it with the slide mounted. I honestly think it left S&W factory like that, so not a negative for Buds. I would buy from them again anytime.
It shoots really nice, put some Blazer Brass 165 gr, Rem. UMC 180 gr., and Federal HST 165 gr. through it without difficulty. It does seem to favor the 189 gr a bit in my opinion.
