I traded my Smith&Wesson SD 40 for this gun. I was a little disappointed with the trade value that they gave me for my SD but I did screw myself for buying that gun at a gun shop for way more than what Buds is selling it for so, i guess its really my fault. The correspondence was good.. It did take I while to make the trade, though when trading there has to be way more correspondence back and forth, obviously, and the fact that I was trying to make this trade during their busiest time of the year(Christmas) was probably another reason for the delay.. All in all, Lee Gurney was excellent to work with.
After putting 100+ rounds thru the M&P I decided it was well worth the wait and difference in price, in looks, ergonomics, and shooting. I love the fact that it comes with 3 different backstrap sizes. After shooting with all 3 backstraps, I chose the large..It fits my hands better and I like the lip that curves up the gun...
