I bought the rifle and really liked it. It is really light weight and fun to shoot.
I was going to buy a youth 22 for my 7 year old son when it dawned on me that this was the perfect gun for him. The calapsable stock makes it good for both of us. He couldn't get his elbos down when shooting off the sand bag because the 25 round clip was way to big. We just started of by doing manual loads for single shots at clays. Before I knew it, I needed to remove the scope because he was nailing the clays on the backstop every time. We worked on iron sites and he did well there. I looked for 10 round mags but could only find the large 25 round mags with a 10 round blocker. I didn't think they made what I wanted until a saw this picture on buds web site. It is a real, straight 10 round mag. I found them available on S&W's web site. 20 bucks. Not bad - I got 2. We had a blast shooting semi auto. The mag doesn't drop down past the grip so it was perfect for my son.
I do get the occational misfeed or stovepipe. Doesn't bother me too much. I see this as an opportunity to show him how to drop a mag and clear a jam.

This is one of my favorite guns to shoot. Also very easy to clean.
Shoots the 2 cent federal walmart bulk in quarter size groups at 35 yards with a bipod. Plenty good for shooting sillouttes.
