I managed to acquire a Remington 541-S that was set up for match shooting. The previous owner used this ammo and recommended I use it exclusively. I am please with this product and Buds Gun Shop online sales and service.

Shoots great out of everything I own which includes a kidd 10/22, cz 452 and 455. Haven't tried my ruger precision or my marlin 60 yet

In a Ruger Precision Rimfire, these shoot all holes touching at 50 yards. I tried dozens of types of ammo, including some very expensive Eley, and this is the best of them all.

I did not know this product was being made again until I discovered it at Bud's a while back.My older and current match .22 rifles shoot the best with the Federal Ultra Match The current rebate offered by Federal is great.. Thank You Bud's for stocking this product when no other shops have it. Bud's prices and shipping costs continue to be very fair.

I recently discovered that the Federal Ultra Match.22 ammo was available at Bud's Gun Shop. This ammo ammo has had good reviews by serious match shooters going back 30 years which is why I purchased it.The box says made in Germany. My 50 yard range test over the past month with a Win.52,Win 75,H&R 12 & a Anschutz 64 resulted in the tightest groups that I have had with these rifles and I have used many brands in them.No flyers in 200 rounds.Not cheap,but you get what you pay for. Bud's has the lowest price and with the Federal rebate currently available the price is good.

My Anschutz 64 Silhouette shoots these extremely well. Less than .500 at 50 yds easily. Under 1 inch groups at 100 yds easily. The Federal Match 922A are very close in accuracy but not quite.

My Cz 455 loves this very accurate ammo.

Bought 1000 rounds and weighted all and they varied from 52.7 to 53.0 grains. Shot groups at 75, 100, 125, and 200 yards in preparation for silhouette match. Shot .5 group at 75 yards, .75 group at 100 yards, 1.00 at 125 yards, 1.5 at 200 yards. Using my Anschutz 54.30.

This is an ammunition that I have found to shoot exceptionally well in my rifle and it is hard to find, but Buds had it a a reasonable price.

Good ammo. It does group tighter than none match ammo. For sixteen cents per round, I think it should be a little better. Ammo prices are through the roof. No reason for that to be. But, as long as people continue buying it at these high prices, then the manufacturers will continue to over price it. Back to this ammo. I tested it in a Marlin model 60 and in an S&W M&P 15-22. With both rifles, I saw tighter grouping than ammo of the same brand as well as others. Velocity is a little low. I do not like the fact that from the moment the gun goes bang to the moment of impact, there's a very noticeable delay. I was shooting at 50 yards at the time. Reminds me of shooting a worn out pellet gun. I will test more with the Ruger mark IV .22 caliber in order to see how it does with a pistol, and if I can amend this review later, I will. One other thing that I forgot to mention. Although, it has been a few months since I tested this ammo, I do not recall having the dreaded "flyers". Gosh, I can't stand those.

I have been trying different match grade ammo in my H&R M12. A friend let me try a box of the Ultramatch and wow! I am shooting much tighter groups at 100 yards than with the SK Match I was shooting. I definitely say this is good ammo with my rifle. You may have similar results. Give some a try!

Now, this ammo is top of the line. Will buy more of this in bulk next time I order. Only bought 100 rounds to try it out.

I bought a brick of Federal UM22 for my Sako Finnfire; shooting .22 BR matches. Best stuff ever. Also the price was half that charged by "A" big box sporting goods retailer. All future ammo buys go to Bud's.

Finally found what my left-hand CZ 452 American loves! Every five shot group at 50 yards can be covered with a dime. Now I just have to save up to buy in bulk. Great ammo at a great price, and fast delivery as always by Buds.
