Purchased my Puma 1911-22 the first part of December 2011 and it was another well handled transaction by Bud's. However, when I received the firearm the barrel bushing could not be removed and there was a gap between the slide and the frame. It was 2 - 3 inches long and you could see daylight as well as the spring through the gap. I sent the gun back to Chiappa and they did nothing to it. Sending it back with this note "Gunsmith thourghly inspected firearm, everything is within specifications, functions correctly, shoots point of aim. Barrel bushing removes as expected." (spellling is theirs, not mine.) The barrel bushing was nicked and the gap was still there. If specifications call for a gap along the side of the firearm I do not want to purchase another Chiappa firearm.
