I bought this gun as a Christmas present for myself. First gun bought from Bud's and it was a very smooth transaction with fast shipping to my FFL.. Took it to the range yesterday to start the recommended breakin process (300 rnds in 2 sessions). Fired 150 rounds of CCI Mini Mags with no issues. Some rapid fire as well. I also put 20 rounds of Remington hollow points thru the gun without any issues. The gun handles great and is quite accurate right out of the box. As stated in the manual, the gun will shoot low due to extra material added to the front sight which will need to be trimmed off after the break-in is complete. Compensating for the high front sight, I was easily able to keep rounds within a 2 inch group without support. A very impressive gun for the money. Fit and finish were fine. It came with 2 magazines which I liked, and a hard plastic case with good documentation. I only had one concern during the first break-in period and that was a slide closure occuring when a full magazine was inserted hard. While its possible I may have touched the slide release during the insertion I dont think I did. Either way, the slide closed unexpectedly, and its something I'll watch for in the future. All-in-all I'm very pleased and impressed with this gun.. Its just what I wanted and a whole lot better than buying a conversion kit for one of my other 1911s
