If you are thinking about ordering one of these, you should before they are gone. This is definitely a 1911 best buy for 2011 if I've ever seen one. The fit, finish, trigger, action, sights, and so many other things you get in this weapon in this thing is unheard of for a pistol in this price range. Solid stainless piece that is well machined with care. What a deal. Also, I have never seen another pistol on Bud's get so many five star reviews. Now I know why! I like the one I just got so much that I am going to get another before this is gone. I mean I own and have owned Taurus pistols and 1911s, and the only problem I had with one was an extractor broke: the tip of it came off. I later found that it was a Metal Injected Molded Part like the one's used in many different brands, so I don't hate Taurus for it. For example, I have seen Springfield use them and Glock and so forth. The thing is with MIM parts is that they do not give any signs about whether they will break or not. I sent that one back to Taurus, and they put a better extractor in it, and new hammer as well, and they re-tuned it again for me. Now that is a second to none lifetime warranty if you ask me. I do not know if the extractor on this one is different, because I haven't looked, but I have never had another problem with their 1911s besides that. I just think that other one became broke from stress of demo snap caps and incorrect use, or it could have just been a did extractor. Since it was fixed though, no problems after 100s of rounds. Works like a charm as the others did/do.
