First impressions: AWESOME! I've only had this gun for a day now, but I love it already. I haven't went out and shot it yet, so I can't give a review on it's performance...but it's an XDm! There's plenty of reviews out there that speak to the awesome performance of this gun. As for what I can comment on: Fit and finish are outstanding. Flawless gun from the inside out. No scratches, no nothing. It's obvious that this is a high quality product. Everything from looking at it, to holding it, to inspecting the internal parts, screams quality. This is hard for me to say, because I really do love my M&P9c, but this XDm does feel like a better quality gun...but i'm sure you cant go wrong with either. The OD Green frame looks awesome. I'm 100% happy that I went with it over the all black. The Trijicon Night Sights are awesome. They glow green, and they glow well. You can't miss them in a dark house. Perfect sight picture. Definitely worth the extra $80 over the same XDm without them. I put a Streamlight TLR2s weapon light on it and it fits great with the Glock fitting key (you'll understand if you get or have had the TLR). I've heard people ding the weapon for the grip safety "over complicating things" but if simply holding the weapon "over complicates things" then you probably don't have any business firing one. The safety disengages every time you hold the gun. Which, I think it's great that it wont fire if i'm not holding it, and it will fire without applying any thought process to disengage a safety while i am holding it. GREAT GUN!
