This Hi-Point 995 is "AWESOME", it''s no AR15, but for the money it's perfect for home defence the short barrel is easy to move around in tight quarters and if you have a 9MM pistol all the better, even if your primary hand gun is a 1911, the Hi-Point Carbine comes in 45 cal.
This is my second purchase from Bud's and both were lay-aways and though they DO NOT notify you by eMail like they say they will, the processing time is quick and easy.
Getting back to the 995, for the money this carbine is allot of fun, sights were dead on out of the box, I had no problems going thru about one hundred rounds, would have shot more but it was too cold, I just HAD to see if what I read about all the good reviews were correct, and believe me they are. If you want a dead on target from one hundred yards carbine, this is the gun for you, and it's made in the good old U.S.A.
