FN SCAR Semi-Automatic 223 Remington/5.56 NATO 30+1 Capacity
[98521]
$2,648.00
by Glenn A Date Added: Sunday 15 April, 2012
My 9th+ firearm purchased from Buds in the past 5 months or so. And as always very prompt and professional service from Buds. Anyway the gun comes in a plain cardboard box with one mag, manual and a lock. Geez FN don't be so cheap please join the rest of the industry and include a case. Other than a corner hole damage on the box probably due to the shipper. The rifle was is perfect condition. But like Ak's covered with a fair amount of cardboard dust. The SCAR needs no introduction, everything is ambidextrous except for the bolt release. The gas system is near exact as the one on their SAW minimi. The pistol grip is of the A2 type so Im switching my out with a Magpul grip. The butt stock button is plastic so that is being replaced as well with a 3rd party metal one. I'm also going to install a down wards canted charging handle to clear optics. The gun feels very much like you're standard M4 though much lighter and charging the gun is so smooth. Anyway a nice addition to my collection. Ive also purchased an ACR Enhanced and will do my own comparison. IMO as of this time the ACR feels more sturdy than the SCAR. The SCARS butt stock feels very flimsy. But other than that the SCAR shoots very well and has almost NO recoil. Very nice tactical weapon and would recommend this gun to anyone.
