Taurus 2940049PSS M94 22LR 4" AS 9RD PSS [2940049PSS]
by Denis C
Date Added: Monday 28 January, 2013
I received the NIB Taurus M94 SS 9 shot revolver today.
I examined the pistol and was pleased with the fit and finish.
I dry fired the pistol 3-4 times, and other than a relatively hard trigger pull, all seemed well.
I accepted the purchase and went to the range.
I cleaned the pistol and after loading the cylinder with new ammunition, I tried to cock the hammer to fire single action.
The cylinder would not rotate and the trigger would not activate the firing mechanism in double action either.
Thinking maybe the ammunition had something to do with this problem, I opened the cylinder and removed the ammunition.
The trigger/hammer have remained stuck and the brand new Taurus pistol is inoperable.
SO, I will ship this very disappointing pistol off to Taurus to see if they willl stand behind their product and fix it.
Next time,I'll be happy to pay more and buy a S&W or a Ruger.
No more Taurus.
