In general, you can't beat a Savage Arms rifle for the price. The 110ba in .338LM is no exception. I took the rifle in the box to a local range, had it fitted with a Vortex Razor HD scope (more $ than the rilfe itself), and took it out the range area to zero it. Took me 5 rounds to dial in the elevation at 50 yards, then another 3 or 4 to zero it at 100yds. Once dialed in, the last 4 shots were ~ 1/2" group at 100yds. That's with ~10mph cross-wind. No rifle tuning (harmonics correction), no custom loads, etc. Straight out of the box, off the shelf 250gr factory loads. I'm impressed. Once tuned, and an optimized hand load found, I think this rifle will be the most accurate one I own. Build quality is top-notch also. This thing is solid.
