Very nice rifle. Recoil is about equal to that of a AR-10. Which to me seems very light for the caliber. Ergonomic feel of this rifle is superb. Trigger is very light and crisp.
The action is rather stiff though. My hope is that it will get smoother after some use. The feed ramp in this will need to be polished. Also found the magazine can be a bit difficult at times to seat and lock into place properly.
All in all Savage has put together a very nice package with this rifle.
Purchase process went very smooth. Buds kept me informed through every step of the purchase via email from purchase packing and shipping. Arrived at my FFL in a few days.
