Stock looks to have pink laminate instead of a dark red or maroon . Disappointed and will keep to give to my girlfriend.

Bought this rifle for my son. Shoots 30 Hornady grain Vmax at 1/2 MOA at 100yds no problem. Looks and feels great. Love the montecarlo stock and the spiral fluted barrel just tops it off.

Received rifle as ordered, and it looked quite nicely put together in the box. Upon firing it for the first time however, there is one glaring problem with the build quality of this gun. The 5 shot magazine fits very loosely in the rifle, and cycling the bolt, in 100% of the cases, results in jamming the follow-up round directly into the face of the chamber, directly above the hole. In order to load a round, I must hold the magazine from under the rifle with my left hand and jiggle the bolt with my right. Perhaps half the time I need to pull the magazine, re-seat the rounds, and replace, holding the mag so that the roud lines up with the chamber, and then slide the bolt closed.
After firing, If the bolt is not opened completely, it will cycle perhaps 75% of the time until empty. But once all rounds have been fired, and the mag has been reloaded, it is a circus to get the first round into the chamber.
I know this isn't a $1,000 tack driving rifle, but seriously. I've had rifles from far less know manufacturers that didn't behave like a cheap, poorly made carnival shooter.
Accuracy is fine, I ran 8 different kinds of ammo through it, fairly consistent in shot placement, however all 8 would jam into the chamber face, so the issue is the mag and build quality, not the ammo.
Not dissatisfied at all with Buds, however giving Savage a serious re-think.

Awesome gun.. Beautiful detail on the woodwork.. Gun grouped well right out the box 4 in a quarter with first box of ammo tested.. Picking up a couple other brands to find the sweet spot.. And as usual... Buds always comes through.. Fast shipping and excellent service

This rifle is awesome! I wanted a nice quality rife and that's what I got. I put a mid level BSA scope on it and within 15 minutes at the range it's now a tack driver. I would buy this gun again and I would buy from Buds again too!

Looks awsome! Feels great in the hands.. As always Bud's was excellent in their service. One warning, the stock color is nowhere near the photo. it is much darker and the "red" is more pink than anything.. This actually turned out to be good, since I bought it for my wife! I'm sure I will get trigger time, been lookin' forward to shooting .22 mag for a while now. Thanks Buds!
