A great value rifle!

After lengthy web research, I picked up this rifle as a "value weapon", meaning "good gun for cheap"... The gun has occupied a position on the short list of my favorite rifles.

The build quality is very good, the action was smooth, and the trigger is exceptional. It has almost no takeup, and crisply breaks at a very light 3 lb, which can be adjusted up to 7 lb easily.

Weatherby advertises sub-MOA accuracy out of the box, and as soon as I got my Vortex Diamondback II scope mounted and zeroed, the rifle delivered 1 inch groups at 100 yds... The rifle is an absolute pleasure to shoot, and the accuracy and value are exceptional. Weatherby hit a home run with this model. I was so impressed with the rifle in .308 that I ordered another in .223 for more ammo options and reducing ammo costs.
