Okay,... this is a very very good rifle... the action is smooth, loads cleanly, I was not sure about the rail but I don't notice it at all with the easy to see buck horn rear sights.
It is a very very good rifle..it is NOT a great rifle There are truly great rifles out there..I wont talk about them here but you know what they are.
However..you will NOT get a great rifle for this price.. if you are like me..you love shooting but don't have Bill Gate's wallet..then this is a terrific option...
I doubt you will be unhappy.. I certainly am.

Oh..one thing, the little bag of desiccant broke in the box and it took me 30 minutes to get it out of every crook and granny of the rifle!! lol
