I picked up my Glock G22 Gen 4 40S&W FS today at my preferred FFL. After my initial inspection and function testing of the weapon, I took it home and began cleaning it. Upon breakdown I noticed a significant amount of rust on the under side of the weapon's slide. I don't know why it was like that. I also noticed that the weapon had a bit of wear on the tenifer under the slide where the rust was located. It seemed like more wear than the usual test rounds would give it as the tenifer was removed in one spot. I took me a couple of minutes to remove the oxidation and clean the gun as it was dirty when I received it. I have never had a new firearm be as dirty as this Glock when I bought it. My other Glock wasn't this dirty new... The trigger on this Glock is rather loose in its housing. The trigger pull has a bit more leeway up until the break which seems lightly crisp. The MBS system is a plus; I also like the bigger and reversible magazine release. The gun also came with three magazines another plus. The texturing on the frame is great in hand. I would have given this a five star rating if not for the questionable wear, rust, and loose trigger. Apart from that, the gun was everything I would expect from Glock. Bud's service was good as well. Although they forgot to ship my handgun with the other guns in my order, I understand. They have recently been slammed as far as orders go. They seem to be doing a good job with pace anyways in my opinion, especially during the holidays. Impressed. (:
